BVG MANAGEMENT BOARD

The BVG Management Board manages the company’s strategic and operating business. Henrik Falk has been the CEO of BVG since January 2024 and Jenny Zeller-Grothe has been management board member for human resources and social affairs at the BVG since January 2023.

Henrik Falk Henrik Falk has been the CEO of BVG since January 2024. Henrik Falk has been a member of the Management Board of Hamburger Hochbahn AG since 1 January 2016 and Chairman of the Management Board since 1 February 2016. Henrik Falk also sits on the German Federal Government’s National Platform for the Future of Mobility, the Policy Board of UITP (Union Internationale des Transports Publics), the Executive Committee of the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV), and the Board of Innovators at SQUARE/Hamburg School of Business Administration (HSBA). Previously, Henrik Falk was Head of Finance and Sales at Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) from 1 November 2008 to 31 December 2015. From 1999, he worked as a solicitor in Berlin specialising in commercial law and became a partner in a law firm in 2001. On 1 April 2004, Henrik Falk joined BVG as Chief Legal Officer. In this position he was also responsible for the committee work of the public company. From 2008, he held the position as BVG Board Member for Finance and Sales. He studied law at the Free University of Berlin and went on to acquire business-related qualifications in St. Gallen, Switzerland. After working as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Social Law in Munich, he completed his legal traineeship in Paris and Berlin. Henrik Falk was born on 25 April 1970 in Berlin. He is married and has three children.
Jenny Zeller
Jenny Zeller-Grothe Jenny Zeller-Grothe has been management board member for human resources and social affairs at the BVG since January 2023. The graduate psychologist studied at the Free University of Berlin. Starting in 2007, she headed up personnel development, change management, and internal communication at S-Bahn Berlin GmbH for several years. In 2012, she then moved to DB Projektbau GmbH, where she was head of executive support and development. From 2014, Jenny Zeller was the head of Deutsche Bahn’s management academy, with group-wide and cross-divisional responsibility for management training and the support of transformation processes within the context of the group strategy. In 2021, she returned to S-Bahn Berlin as senior labour relations manager and managing director of human resources, positions she held until the end of 2022.
